cards ¦ homemade for the holidays

day 2 we bring you cards! there is nothing simpler or sweeter then giving a card and when that card is handmade...well it's just that much more special!
like everything else, handmade cards do not have to be complicated...it's a simple gesture to say, "hey! i've been thinking of you!" and who doesn't like those kinds of gestures?
happy mail, puts a smile on everyone's face!
so today ronda and i are bringing you ideas on cards! i created 3 super simple, very quick cards that won't add your already busting at the seams holiday season ;)

my merry christmas card was put together using a silver and gold glimmer mist on a cream cardstock background, a silver paint pen, and the christmas tree from ronda's merry and bright life fragments. sweet and simple...christmas trees are my favourite thing to put on christmas cards and i LOVE the whimsy of this one!
the believe card uses scrap bits of pattern paper and ribbon, some ink and the believe label from the merry & bright life fragment set. after hand cutting the ornament shape i used some pop dots to give it some dimension...and voila! easy peasy done!

using some paper ribbon, glitter alphabets, and the reindeer card from the merry and bright life fragments set, this joy card came together super fast..i love that reindeer! so you can see that it doesn't have to involve days on end to put together a simple card that will put a smile on a loved ones face this christmas!
don't forget to head over to ronda's blog and see the beautiful and artsy cards she created.
happy tuesday!
